Merlot, in an old French dialect means "blackbird" and like its name, wine is charming, elegant, arouses emotions and passions. It is the second most widespread variety planted in the world (the first is Cabernet Sauvignon), originally from Bordeaux and if the "father" is Cabernet Franc (like Cabernet Sauvignon), according to DNA tests, the "mother" is Magdeleine Noire des Charentes ( like Malbec), an ancient, extinct variety.

Ruby red wine with fruity aromas of cherries and ripe cherries, with notes of caramel, coffee, chocolate and bell pepper. The 4 months of maturation in French barrels, for second use, we have a Merlot with a full taste, round with velvety tannins, balanced and with a long aftertaste.
