White varieties

They have a large share in the culture of vineyards, especially in the northern half of the country where it predominates. The varieties are more accessible, not as pretentious (some of them) as the red ones, and also the production of the wine is slightly easier.

The wines can be of a special quality depending on the variety and its suitability with the medium-terrior context.

Classification

As with red or rosé wines, white wines can be categorized by character. That is, we can have dry white wine, semi-dry white wine, semi-sweet white wine and sweet white wine.

Here, too, the varieties are native - Romania has several internationally recognized white varieties - but also the international ones common in almost all vineyards.
