Macin wines

Area

The wine area is located near the Sarica Niculitel vineyard. The cultivated area is about 300 ha of vines, in the area between the Macinului Mountains Natural Park and that of Chervant hill, while approximately the other half of the cultivated vines are located in the Carcaliu hill area.

VARIETY

The cultivated varieties are the representative ones for this part of Dobrogea. The aligote clearly not absent from this area which is said to be the most suitable for this variety (from Romania). The girls are successfully cultivated Royal and White. Sauvignon Muscat and Tamaioasa as well. Also the Italian Risling and the white Chardonnay. The red varieties are the classic ones found in almost all Feteasca Neagra, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir vineyards. Petit Verdot is cultivated in Macin.
